Congratulations! Your engagement will be such an exciting and momentous time in your life, and you should absolutely take a moment to be present in the excitement and happiness. Maybe pour a flute of bubbly if you’re into that.
Now, once you’ve done that, you’ll want to determine your budget and maximum number of guests. The average cost per guest at a wedding as of 2019 is approximately $200.
Once you have a rough idea on your guest list and budget, you can reach out to venues to secure your spot. The average engagement length is approximately 16 months. I generally recommend that you secure a venue first, unless working with us in the full planning of your event.
Early in the planning process it is recommended that you reach out to a wedding coordinator to secure their availability for your chosen date (if you’ve selected one). Our availability can fill up quickly!
Don’t have a venue or budget yet? No problem, we can work with you from the get-go in your budgeting, planning, and design of your wedding.

In all honesty, “day-of” coordination isn’t really feasible and will not allow your wedding coordinator to execute their job effectively.
In order to manage the day-of events, such as the vendor coordination, logistics, and management of the schedule, the wedding coordinator must know all of the information leading up to the event. This involves up to 8 weeks worth of preparation in connecting with vendors, finalizing the RSVP and meal lists with the caterer, timelines, reminders on payment, and more. Executing these key preparatory pieces ensures that your wedding coordinator knows all that they need to know the day of your wedding so that your vision can come to life. Our Partial Planning Package will aid you in this execution.
If you’ve organized absolutely everything, and do not require onsite coordination, we do offer services to support strictly event set-up and tear down. See our Services Page for more information.

The onsite coordinator for a venue is only responsible for the venue itself. They are extremely valuable in helping with the execution of the event if they are offered, and can be the onsite expert for all things venue. Their responsibilities vary from venue to venue, however they are not responsible for the overall execution and design of the event itself. Responsibilities such as finalizing timelines, vendor management, or set up of decor (unless owned by the venue) usually lies with an outside third-party. That is where the value of a dedicated wedding coordinator comes into play - I can act as the “team quarterback” with all of the vendors and wedding party both leading up to and during the wedding to ensure that your day runs smoothly, and is a beautiful experience for all.

Your engagement and wedding should be a time to celebrate your love and reaching this massive milestone. So often, couples get wrapped up in the unnecessary stress of planning their wedding, when instead, they should be excited! A wedding planner or wedding coordinator can help alleviate this stress by arranging for the logistics ahead of time and connecting you with vendors. Depending on the service you request, they can also help you in the overall design of the event itself.
Beyond this, and perhaps most importantly, hiring a wedding planner or wedding coordinator can ensure that not only you, but your friends and family can remain present at your wedding. It gives you and your loved ones the opportunity to focus solely on YOU, while we worry about the nitty-gritty details.

We offer competitive pricing which is based on the number of guests you anticipate at your wedding or event due the added labour with additional guests, place settings, and decor requirements. A 200 guest wedding on a Tuesday will cost us the same amount in labour as a 200 guest wedding on a Saturday.
